Aims2DASH aims to be a "Club for Life" with all members being encouraged and motivated to achieve their full potential both in sport and everyday life. We are an inclusive Club who welcome all abilities, disabilities and ambitions and understand that individuals want to be part of the club, for a variety of reasons, all of which are considered to be of equal importance. Whether as an athlete, coach, official, sponsor, donor, volunteer or family member everyone is welcome.
QualityWe offer a range of quality athletics coaching, delivered by UK Athletics qualified coaches, to athletes from the age of 8 to adult and veterans. We base our coaching sessions on Athletics 365 that provides many tried and tested coaching systems in a competency centred framework. All of our coaches are up to date with the latest developments in coaching practices though workshops and programmes such as "Accelerate Your Coaching".
PhilosophyWe encourage and support everyone, regardless of age and ability, to achieve their full potential in line with their personal ambition and first and foremost to enjoy participating in athletics. We focus in providing a warm and friendly environment where friendships and teamwork can flourish whilst supporting all athletes to be independent taking ownership of their training and performance using an athlete centered approach. All decisions are based on what is good for the well-being and long term development of every single member of the club.
ParticipationAthletics provides a great opportunity to develop, apart of the physical qualities, the behavioural, social and psychological requirements of young people and to reinforce those same skills and values in grown ups. The involvement of family and friends is therefore actively encouraged at all times through a number of different roles – coaching, officiating, volunteering and more. Contact us to find out how to get involved.
Training2DASH Club focus mainly in grass-roots athletics sessions to be delivered either at EIS Sheffield, Mount Stadium Spinkhill or Woodbourn Road Stadium. Junior athletes from the age of 8 until 16 are very welcome. Athletes who want to specialise in a particular event or aim to become and elite athlete should contact us in order to direct you to one of our coaches who has the experience to lead you to achieve your goals.
SupportWhatever your reason for joining 2DASH Club - from a desire to improve health & fitness, to boost performance in other sports; for the social aspect and camaraderie that comes from being part of a training group; to compete in a variety of athletics events or even to become an elite athlete - you will be fully supported. Get in touch with us to receive more information on how to become a member of 2DASH Club.
